Hi! I’m glad you chose this topic. Many people don’t realize the percent of clothes that take up landfill space. Your tree is beautiful and there is a strong message here. If I have to give a critique maybe there could have been an eye catching color added somewhere to break up the colors. Like the clothes on the tree branches could have been more colorful. Great work.
Looking at the article and then back to this, I really think you did a great job of illustrating the topic at hand. I really love how you’ve made the leafless tree the centerpoint for the environment being in a crisis, especially when combined with the mountains of clothing in the background as well as some draped over the tree itself. I think its a nice touch that the clothes are so mountainous that they are basically devoid of color and act as a background piece while still commanding its own level of attention. My eyes immediately go to the clothing and then focuses on the tree itself. I think its a great design.
